TERCOTT CF – flexible PET + Presspan electrical insulation laminate (thermal class B 130°C)

Tereszpan / TERCOTT CF is a flexible electrical insulation laminate made from PET polyester film and Presspan 3040 electrical insulation paper. The material is intended for slot and interphase insulation in electric motors, generators, and transformers.

Tereszpan (also known as TERCOTT CF) is an electrical insulation laminate used in the electrotechnical industry for insulating windings of electric machines. The material is made from a combination of PET polyester film and Presspan electrical insulation paper, providing very good mechanical properties and high dielectric strength.

Thanks to its construction, the material combines the flexibility of PET film with the mechanical strength of Presspan. This allows for effective insulation of current-conducting elements and protection of windings against mechanical damage.

Tereszpan is primarily used in the production and regeneration of electric motors, transformers, and generators. The material is used as slot insulation, electrical insulation spacers, and interphase insulation in electric machines.

The TERCOTT CF laminate features good thermal stability and belongs to thermal class B (130°C), making it suitable for many electrical device insulation systems.
