Polyurethane Resins for Potting and Protecting Electronics

Polyurethane resins used for potting, sealing, and protecting electrotechnical and electronic components. Once cured, they create a flexible, mechanically resistant coating that protects the components from moisture, vibrations, dust, and mechanical damage.

Compared to epoxy resins, polyurethanes offer greater flexibility and better vibration damping, making them suitable for applications exposed to movement, shocks, and varying working conditions. They provide good electrical insulation and dimensional stability.

Typical applications: electronic modules, power supplies, controllers, transformers, sensors, automotive systems, and devices operating in high humidity.
